The Stupinigi hunting lodge is a residence, originally used for hunting, erected for the Savoy family between 1729 and 1733 to a design by architect Filippo Juvarra. The site, part of the circuit of Savoy residences in Piedmont, was proclaimed a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. The mansion is located in Stupinigi (a hamlet of Nichelino), on the southwestern outskirts of Turin, from whose historic center it is about 10 kilometers away.
In 2016, the museum complex reached 115,000 visitors.
