Your Sky Glass and Sky Stream remote
Find out what each button does on your Sky remote.
- Power / Standby button – turn your Glass TV or Sky Stream puck on/off/on standby.
- Coloured dots (red, green, yellow and blue dots) button – when you see an on-screen prompt, select this button to access extra features.
- Options menu … (three dots) button – search and manage settings including:
- Text search
- Subtitles
- Audio description
- Viewing mode
- Night mode
- Enhance speech quality
- Microphone – for Sky Glass hands-free voice control
- Play / pause button - pause what you're watching
- Mute button – turn the sound off
- Up / down buttons – change channels or move up and down the menus.
- Left button – rewind. Press again to speed up, or press and hold to move to a certain part of a show.
- Right button – fast forward. Press again to speed up, or press and hold to move to a certain part of a show.
- Select button – selects the option highlighted. When watching TV it brings up the Mini Guide.
- Back button – go back to the previous screen.
- Home button – go to your Home screen, TV Guide, Playlist and TV apps.
- + Playlist button – add anything you want to watch later to your Playlist. This is instead of the record button.
- Voice button – press and hold while speaking into the top of your remote. For example:
- "Go to Sky Atlantic"
- "Go to my Playlist"
- "Rewind 30 seconds"
- Volume button – turn the volume up or down.
- Number keypad - enter the channel number using the keypad.
