Zoom Torino

Zoom Torino is a zoo, managed by the joint stock company of the same name, which is inspired by the modern zoo-immersion concept; it is located in Cumiana, in the metropolitan city of Turin.

The park, which was previously a family park housing some animals, called "Laghi Baite," was opened in 2009; the area is about 160,000 m² with 84 animal species in 11 habitats. The project is by Gianluigi Casetta, who took over the area from his father.

It is designed to protect endangered species and houses animals from other European zoological facilities EAZA in exhibits that replicate the habitats of the species' origin, namely Asia and Africa.

Zoom is not just a safari, but an irresistible travel experience!  A walking adventure, between Asia and Africa, immersed in nature to discover animals in their habitats.

Explore 9 African and Asian habitats and learn, while having fun, about the curiosities, peculiarities, and problems of species through encounters with biologists.

In summer you can swim alongside African penguins at Bolder Beach and dive into a lake to observe hippos at Malawi Beach.
